the drums need rising in the eq higher cause the sounds are over powering them. the idea is there but i think just needs mastering

Just Shaved…
Smooooth. you must’ve just shaved.
I wish we had the D-N-B sub genre at Garageband as a label by which to appropriately brand this track. Electronica, yes, but- RAGGA ROLLIN’ DRUM and BASS is where it lives…
Totally competent. This piece grooves very well. It has perfectly placed breaks and does all the moves it is supposed to. Here is a list of the things I thought were outstanding:
1. At 36 seconds when the counter-beat comes in to compliment the step rhythm. Man, I love that trick.
2. 1:57 when the drums come back in, great stuff.
More about the drums at 2:58, clean! Dark synth and building drum part with that bee-you-tee-full sub-base underneath it all. Sweet.
Let me say, it isn’t like I haven’t heard this all before, I have, which is not a bad thing. Lots of us out here LOVE D-n-B and I love the big Ragga sound especially. To be honest, the expiremental boundary pushing of the likes of Squarepusher and Aphex Twin tend to tire the ear after a while and we need a little straight ahead Goldie (or something, you fill in the name of your favorite urban D-n-B D.J.).
Well done. On the critical tip you might want to tweek your synths a little more, maybe get them to evolve more as the track progresses. You do have a good combination of synth patches and effects which keep the listener engaged, but, if you took those and then subtly effected them a little more over time; it would take this piece to another level. Also the initial lead synth at 12 seconds in is obviously not quantized and there are a few akward out of time pictures of- humanity? If that’s what you want, fine with me. It does stand out. It makes one pay attention, but kind of pulls away from the awesome quality of SMOOOOOTH.

Review
Love the D & B intro. Great sequencing/program on the drums. 48s into the song and same ole same ole. Finally some piano… sounds nice. COOL scratching. This is tight. I like what is happening at 1:36s. Nice strings too. Good work with this song. Big thumbs up.

Pro Programming!
Cool programmed drums with a great groove…nice….sweet little itty bitty keys come in like spiders crawling and makeing there way to eat there food that is trapped in this complex percussive maze. Wonderful guitar like keyboard sound and the part is really catchy and hooky. The guy that did this track is a pro and it shows!

More work needed to pick up beat
Way too repetative - can set a clock to this. Heaps better when the “Musical part” start. => may need to cut out long repetetive into to keep interest of your listeners. Scratch effect is a bit overdone.
Well not hooky - but kinda atmospheric. Would work on creating something a little more exagerated from the existing work to bring a recognisable feel to the song. - Maybee emphasise drums/ beat/ percussion a bit more for example.

Strnge DnB
The sounds dont compliment the drums…or the drums dont compliument the sounds. Sounds like a strange combination either way.

Gimme more track like this one
Interesting feel on this one, kind of reminds me of a late 80s movie about the future (Im not quite sure what I mean by that.) The beat sequencing on this is durn nice. Good bass line and drums samples. The notes going on a kinda of dissonant and stuff, but I think it works in a cool way. Im not sure where Id expect to hear this sort of a song. It could be good in a video game, or a movie or just on a CD!
Good effort! The sounds of everything fit together pretty well, though I suppose they could be enhanced a tad at most. The mix is good! For some reason parts of the breakdown seemed a little unusual (it might be part of the drum beat, or something sounds like breakbeat.) Overall its a rockin breakz track.
Sample/Pad Choice: plus
Production/Mixing: plus
Originality: plus/minus
Mood: plus
Structure: plus
Composition: double plus
Overall: Great one!

Addictive bass
From the second it started playing the words “Addictive bass” popped into my head, The bass sounds really nice and well done, it really keeps the song moving and when the DNB style drums kick in it changes for the better, however maybe some more variation on the drums, get a hat or something close to the frequency of the snare and play it some so it has more of a frequency range of sound (because the hats and the snare just dont fit as good as they can)
I like the padding, it sounds cool how it kind-of echos when you play it, then you have that lower far off string (sounds like it but it could be an FX on the main pad)
When it changed, it wasnt as good as before (at the 2:00 mark onwards) the dark padding and the light padding together had a good emotion, but the song turned into more of an ambiant with that, you shouldhave kept the bass and changed it up some (it wouldhave kept it flowing way better)
the pad “solo” plus the drums got old, and i was relieved when the drums and bass finally kicked back in, i really dont like the middle of this song much, it delays the “kick” for too long (no not a kick as in a sample)
The drums were nicely done, maybe change the samples some for more frequency range (as i said before)
the padding was origional at least, it couldhave been better, but it did go pretty well with the DNB drums n bass.
