Intresting take on The Prodidgy
Its unusual but, I think it goes quite well. Most of the comments on YouTube are pretty positive, your always gonna get an odd few who slate it just for the sheer fun of it. One of the comments were awesome, they said that the song name should have been changed to - Sail My Bitch Away, hahahaha!!!
Two of of my fav things at the mo are still the matrix and the group future prophecies and whilst trawling through the vast world of you tube i came across this video with both in
Honestly it don’t really go but it is worth the watch, im mean i sat there for the 6 mins lol
Another vid i found on there today is Future Prophecies again but just them live and this is a amazing video so full kudos to whoever filmed it and i wish i was there to see this.
One day i will get someone to play a instrument whilst i dj.
I seem to be addicted to korg
After my last post about the korg pad kontrol i seem to be addicted to searching for korg hardware and i came across the KORG Electribe MX i actually nearly bought this last year but never got around to the whole going to the shop thing. Anyway heres a small vid of the KORG Electribe MX its not to good a quality but the idea it there and you will see what i mean by the possibilitys it could create.
So now after watching that video i started to think that maybe i should now get one. I also found a review of the product on the internet so i will share that with you to.
The presets sound good for the genres they are emulating, but useless for the genres of music I produce. They show off what the Electribe can do and how much can go on at once. Mainly, the presets were made and put on the Electribe to get it sold for the “wow” factor. I did not buy it because of the presets, I bought it because of the weird, noisy, loud stuff it could do once I started tweaking it.
Editing patches is pretty easy and straightforward. For the more advanced stuff such as step sequencing and motion sequencing and what not, a lot of buttons and knobs have to be used and a lot of submenus have to be accessed and that takes a bit of practice to get the hang of. But, most of the commonly used parameters are easy to access and straightforward. Making synth parts and modulating them is very easy, as well as manipulating effects and so forth.
The manual covers everything you need to know, right down to advanced MIDI programming and controlling. The manual is as straightforward as the unit itself.
I hope this info has been helpfull.
