I know its illegal with all this copyright infringement and all that but did YouTube really have to clamp down as hard as they did. I uploaded a video the other day of our little Alfie playing the wii and it had the soundtrack “come baby come” by K7. Now the video was hilarious with this track, his little feet are bopping and moving. When i added the vid i got an error message stating that it contained copyrighted material and i will need to use the “Audio Swap” in order for my video to be uploaded and accepted into the youtube community.

The audio swap function is all in a good idea but, the music is shit. There are no decent tracks on there and the last time i checked there was not one famous artist, so i guess they are all unsigned. But, where do they come from.

I sure that this has affected other people a lot more than me. Like the people that spend there lives recording mtv and adding the music video to there profile, i imagine that all there videos are now just silent. I even looked at a vid the other day of a guy playing guitar hero and they had deleted the sound from that, you can only imagine how boring that vid was. Its like watching a silent film.

What happens to other types of copyright on there. Why are people still allowed to add film clips of there fav tv shows or movie trailers. An example of that was today when keri was searching for a trailer of the film “seed” and the search came up with clips of the film that are not a trailer. Yet they have not been blocked.

Because of this im now going to go and look else where for somewhere to upload my videos, or i may even just put them straight on here.
