Two of of my fav things at the mo are still the matrix and the group future prophecies and whilst trawling through the vast world of you tube i came across this video with both in Honestly it don’t really go but it is worth the watch, im mean i sat there for the 6 mins lol

I just found this awesome site on the net called http://www.giftgen.co.uk basically it makes shopping a breeze and I have even bought from it. Here is how it works. When you first go to the site you get presented with a row of check boxes to click before it shows you the gifts. Things like age of person receiving the gift, what sex they are and what there into. Once that has been done all you do is hit enter and as if by magic it shows you a list of Gift Ideas in your price range from various suppliers on the internet.

This site has also come top in the shopping category according to the telegraph, it’s not often I agree with sites that promote other sites, but this one is a cracker and I will definitely be going back there.

I tried this with a present for my dad and I ended up with a book on motorbikes all I need to say is that my dad loved it and everyone was happy.

Ok so i have decided to add a new header to my site and maybe change some of the graphics so i figured id paste a tutorial i found on how to do a web 2.0 logo

Make your text seem as if it is spankin’ new, right out of the package.

This tutorial was made in Adobe® Photoshop® CS2, though it can be done in many earlier versions as well. Requires intermediate experience with Photoshop.

Have you ever seen those spankin’ new, clean looking logos on all of those “Web 2.0″ sites that are all the hype these days? Well, now you can make your own in a few easy steps with the help of Photoshop and a popular font called Trebuchet MS.

The first step is to open up Photoshop. If you can’t get past this step, I am so so sorry…

Time to create a new document (ctrl+n). Choose a size that will fit your whole word/phrase and set the background to white. Then, simply press “OK”.

Pretty simple, right? Now is time, if you want, to fill in the canvas with your prefered background color. Darker colors as the background will make the font stand out more in the end, thus giving it a shinier, newer look. On a new layer, I filled the canvas with #13171B. Try to make it a habit to name your layers as it will make your projects much more organized and easier to edit in the longrun.

Now, choose a nice bold color for your Foreground Color. I chose #01B6EB. Then, select the Type Tool (T) and choose the font Trebuchet MS. Choosing the right font is very important for things like this. Trebuchet MS is a good choice because of it’s simplicity and clarity. Be sure to set the Anti-Aliasing to Sharp and set the size to at least 60px.

Now, simply click on the canvas and type out your text.

Right click the text layer and click Blending Options…

Then apply these Layer Styles to automagically transform your boring flat text into nice, sleek, “wow” text:

Now, create a new layer (Shift+Ctrl+N) and position it above the other layers. Then, select the Elliptical Marquee Tool (M) and make a selection on the top half of your text like so:

Fill this selection with white. You can do this with the Paint Bucket Tool (G) or by going to Edit>Fill (Shift+F5). This will be your highlight layer.

With the highlight layer still selected, hold the Ctrl key and click on the text layer. It should look something like this:

Select the inverse (Ctrl+Shift+I)…

…And press Delete on the keyboard.

You can now deselect the layer (Ctrl+D) and set the opacity of the highlight layer to somewhere between 30-50.

No Web 2.0 text is complete without a sleek looking reflection. To get this effect, start by selecting both the text layer and the highlight layer. Right click them and click on Duplicate Layers…

Merge the two new layers by right clicking them and clicking Merge Layers or by simply pressing Ctrl+E on the keyboard.

Call the layer “Reflection” and drag it beneath the original two layers like so:

Now click Edit > Free Transform (Ctrl+T) and set the height to -100, flipping it vertically.

Lower the opacity of the reflection layer, and if desired, add a simple gradient mask.

Now, just add one of those trendy looking stickers and you’re in the Web 2.0 club! Congratulations!
